Wayne Mitchell Mrs. Sullivan ELA 12 April 22, 2015 Life in WW II Figures such as Hitler and his minions fought for the total elimination of all Jews. Anne Frank has the best documented survival story, which proves life will be hard to continue. The lives of many dead people make few turn to riches. Although WWII was a time of survival for many American Citizens, the life story of other leaders and casualties demonstrate how life will never be the same. Adolf Hitler son of Alois and Klara Hitler, was never a normal child. Being born in the Branau am Inn, Austria, on April 20, 1889, Adolf was the fourth child out of six. (Biography.com) At the age of three, the Hitlers moved to Germany. Having an ill temper, he would butt heads with his father frequently, one reason was because Adolf was interested in Fine Arts and not business. The view of Germany was not the same interest of Adolf,; he believed in German Nationalism, which would motivate Adolf his whole life. Alois Hitler died while Adolf was still in school, leaving six children with a mother but no father. Adolf’s parents allowed to drop out of school, moving to Vienna to be a water painter and a labor worker. Adolf would then sell all of his paintings and fine works to mostly Jewish shops, giving Adolf the money he needed, until he was forced to be homeless. For several years he was forced to live in a homeless shelter, surviving off what others could give him and his artistic ability.
